### Exclusive Multiplier for “Claim and Stake” directly on Airdrop Portal

Eligible recipients of the $A8 token airdrop have the option to "claim and stake" directly through the Airdrop Portal, as shown in the image below. This option will automatically stake 100% of your airdrop allocation without lock-up, granting users an exclusive multiplier of 400% for their $A8 staking points, but only if completed at <https://airdrop.ancient8.gg/> before August 17, 2024, at 9:00 AM (GMT).

With "Claim and Stake," your $A8 tokens will not be locked, and you'll continue to earn the 400% staking point multiplier until you decide to withdraw them from the Staking Portal.

Eligible airdrop users only have **1 chance** to earn the 400% staking point multiplier via the "Claim and Stake" directly on the Airdrop Portal. If users already claimed manually, that user will miss the 400% and follow the normal staking multipliers.

Example:

* User A is eligible for 10 A8 tokens and decided to "Claim & Stake" directly via the Airdrop Portal, user A will:

  * able to unstake anytime
  * earn 400% staking point multiplier until the moment user A unstakes

* User B is eligible for 10 A8 tokens and decided to "Claim Without Multiplier" via the Airdrop Portal, user B will:
  * **not** able to earn 400% staking point multiplier
  * able to go to <https://staking.ancient8.gg/> to stake manually but will receive the maximum staking point multiplier of 180% (for the option of locking 180 days)
  * follow the locking and multipliers of normal staking

### Claim & Stake at Your Convenience with Standard Multiplier Applies

* You can still claim your $A8 tokens and participate in staking via [https://staking.ancient8.gg/](<https://staking.ancient8.gg/  >). However, when you stake later, your rewards will be based on the standard multiplier, not the higher multiplier offered for “claim and stake” via Airdrop Portal.
* More information on regular staking point multipliers will be provided in the Staking section.

### Important Notes

* $A8 tokens are initially on Ethereum Layer 1. You'll need some ETH to cover transaction fees.
* Unclaimed tokens after the claiming period ends will be returned to the Ancient8 Foundation Treasury.
* We'll ensure fair distribution through checks for duplicate accounts (sybil investigation).

### Staking Options&#x20;

You can choose to stake your $A8 tokens with no lock-up period or for a set period to enjoy higher A8 staking point multiplier.

* **No lock-up:** This option offers flexibility, allowing you to withdraw your tokens at any time.
* **Lock-up periods:** Choose from lock-up periods of 30 days, 60 days, or 180 days. The longer you commit your tokens, the greater the multiplier you'll receive on your A8 staking points.&#x20;

Your tokens will be inaccessible for the entire lock-up period. You won't be able to withdraw them or trade them until the period ends.

Once the lock-up period ends, the multiplier will revert to the standard rate offered for non-locked staking. To continue earning the higher multiplier, you'll need to restake your tokens for another lock-up period.

## How to Stake?

1. **Stake your $A8 tokens:** Simply “claim and stake” your airdrop tokens at <https://airdrop.ancient8.gg> or stake manually via <https://staking.ancient8.gg/>&#x20;
2. **Earn A8 staking points:** The more $A8 tokens you stake, the more A8 points you'll earn.&#x20;
3. **Boost rewards:** The longer you lock your tokens (lock-up period), the higher multiplier you'll receive on your A8 staking points.<br>
