# Backers

In January 2022, Ancient8 successfully raised $4M in seed round financing, backed by leading blockchain investors and builders. We are proud to be accompanied by our dearest friends, backers, and community accompany us on this journey to democratize social and financial access in the Metaverse.

In June 2022, we are delighted to report our successful raising of an additional $6M in a private round of financing. This accomplishment increases Ancient8's total capital raised to $10M.
